As part of the Altitude collection, The Arma Tech 1/2 Zip incorporates the moisture management benefits of Synthetic fibers with the superior thermal regulation of merino wool. Made with a Polyester face for moisture wicking and quick dry time and a merino wool backer for temperature regulation through a complete range of environments. By combining polyester and merino wool, this gives the fabric more strength, more stretch, and a smoother finish resulting in an incredibly comfortable next to skin layer. Combine this base layer with the mid-weight Arma Fleece 1/2 ZIP or the Arma Hoodie for maximum performance.

SILVADUR™ antimicrobial technology inhibits bacteria growth and buildup of microbes on fabric surfaces. These microbes often destroy fabric integrity, shorten its useful life, and can cause discoloration, spoiling and staining. SILVADUR™ polymer-containing silver technology releases silver ions to neutralize odor-causing bacteria upon contact with your clothing. SILVADUR™ ensures fabrics stay fresh without affecting the fit, feel, or finish of the treated garment.
HOW IT WORKS - Silver contains inherent antimicrobial properties. It has been a time-tested antimicrobial used since ancient times in healthcare, food preservation, and water treatment as well as other applications where effective, long-term bacterial protection is required. Silver is a leading antimicrobial due to its safety for human contact, long term efficacy and prevention of growth for a broad range of microorganisms.
HOMOGENEOUS FINISH - SILVADUR™ antimicrobial technology provides uniform distribution of silver ions throughout the fabric– ensuring comprehensive protection and long-lasting freshness.
RESISTS YELLOWING - Fabrics treated with SILVADUR™ antimicrobial technology will not fade or yellow over time.
NO LEACHING - SILVADUR™ long lasting antimicrobial won’t ever cross the skin barrier or migrate from the fabric. This means that SILVADUR™ antimicrobial won’t impact the micro-flora, or good bacteria, when in contact with skin.
"Altitude Arma Tech"
Pair this with bora vest and you won't be disappointed krypteks altitude line is probably the best camo on the market I put it through some pretty harsh environments and it always stays true! Take my word for it buy this camo you will not be disappointed
One of my favorite shirts. A great underlayer or out by itself.
"Very nice, have yet to field test"
So far it seems of good quality. Its a little tight on my throat when zipped up all the way. I will be using it in the field in a month for its first test. Size fits me right for the most part. I am 5'10", 185lbs and wear a large
"Arma Tech 1/2 Zip"
Just ran this as my base layer on an 8 day backpack sheep hunt. Temperature ranged from 5 celsius in mornings to 20 + Celsius in the afternoon. Dried super fast, 1/2 zip is great for releasing heat while hiking. The fabric did not get stretched out as the hunt went on. This is my new go to base layer. I am 6’0” 200lbs and size large fit perfect ( I tuck my base layers in- this top is a little long so it’s perfect for that. )
This shirt is a favorite of mine I really enjoy wearing it on long hikes and use it as a base layer for glassing during moose season. It provides warmth and comfort. I like how it zips down because when I'm wearing this shirt if I get to hot hiking I'm able to zip it open halfway and reduce my body heat. I actually bought a couple of the same exact shirt so I could wear it more often.
"Arma Tech 1/2 Zip"
Great base layer and outer layer in summer/early fall. Light as hell, great taper and fit keep sleaves and torso snug.
"Arma Tech 1/2 zip"
Wore this casually around town in 40 degree weather and a slight breeze. Felt a little chilly at times but not uncomfortable. Perhaps an undershirt with it next time. XL fit me properly and material was comfortable against my skin.
I used this as my base layer shirt on a recent hunt to Russia and I was very impressed. Even soaked with sweat from hiking when we stopped I put on my jacket and this shirt was almost dry before you know. Super lightweight but kept me more than warm enough. Used for two weeks with no odor and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this purchase. Definitely an essential piece of gear for me.
"The perfect shirt"
Picked this shirt up as my early season layer to keep me warm when my other Kryptek layers are just a little too much. I'm very happy with the quality of the material and fit of the shirt, it's perfect for our Montana cool weather bow season and early rifle season where temperatures can vary drastically in a matter of hours. I don't know how many pieces of Kryptek gear I own, but I know that I love everyone of them thus far.
