Cadog by name, Cadog by nature as this jacket puts you ready to do battle with the harsh elements of nature. Lightweight and very flexible, it prevents penetration of the high winds, rain, hail and snow of Easter Oregon's wilderness, at the same time as ensuring your manoeuvrability is not restricted. Inner lining is very warm, comfortable, ample pockets for all your gear and accessories, and just looks awesome in Highlander. I've owned the pants and jacket for some years, and just upgraded the husband's gear to Cadog. He's a very happy man and ready to hit the mountains this winter. Bring it on!
"Worth its weight in Gold. "
Cadog Jacket is incredibly light weight and warmer than I would expect for something so light, and maneuverable. Extremely comfortable to wear in bone breaking bitter cold weather. 11*F at sunrise with 10-15mph gusts, and I was comfortable with this and my Vellus jacket and pants set. Worth every penny!
This is one of my oldest pieces of Kryptek gear - I have had it for at least 4 years. I think it is the perfect jacket for fall hunting. I like that it has no hood, as I always where a hat of some kind, and everything else in my layering kit has hoods. This jacket is super comfortable, breaths well, sheds light moisture, has pit zips, and pockets for everything. I love it.
"This jacket is rad! "
I live in Central Washington. It's high desert and come october, it starts its descent from high 40s to single digits in December. With the sun and clouds, it can be hard to get a jacket that is flexible enough to keep you warm in the shade but not get too toasty in the sun. That's where this jacket shines. It's fairly thin and lightweight but it always seems to be the only layer I need from about 15 to 55 degrees f. If it gets below that, a simple Hoody completes the package. If it gets too warm, just pop open the pit zips. It's rugged, warm, flexible, and the typhon pattern looks awesome.
"Awesome jacket! "
Love this jacket for all types of seasons! Very durable and comfortable! I had to buy one in Typhon as well!
"Thinner material than I'd normally expect for something this warm."
This is gonna be great for deer season and thinning coyote numbers. Plenty warm, but not so thick that it's cumbersome or noisy.
